Marcus Rashford has undergone a medical with Aston Villa ahead of completing a loan move from Manchester United with an option to buy.

Villa reached an agreement on Sunday which will see them cover at least 75 per cent of Rashford’s wages, rising to 90 per cent depending on performance-related bonuses. The
loan deal also contains an option to buy for £40million.
Unai Emery has been pushing for Villa to sign Rashford and believes he can rediscover his best form. Marco Asensio has also travelled to Villa for a medical ahead of completing a loan move from Paris Saint-Germain. Asensio, 29, will join the club until the end of the season, although Villa will have the option to extend the loan deal by a further year if they wish.
Villa are set to pay a minimum of three-quarters of Rashford’s salary and up to 90 per cent depending on performance-based bonuses. They will also have the option to make the move permanent in the summer for a fee of £40million ($49.6m).
Villa manager Unai Emery has driven the pursuit of the England international and believes he is one of the world’s most dangerous attacking players who he can help return to his best form.
