West Ham have agreed a deal to sign Brighton youngster Evan Ferguson on loan until the end of the season, with no option to buy.

Ferguson will travel to London for a medical in the coming days and will link up with Graham Potter, who gave him his debut at Brighton. The
20-year-old has been hampered by injury but made his first appearance in six weeks as a substitute in Brighton’s 7-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Ferguson

Brighton are receiving a significant loan fee for the player and West Ham will cover his wages. There is no option or obligation for West Ham to sign Ferguson included in the deal.
Ferguson is unlikely to be the only player the Hammers have brought in before the window closes, with the Hammers holding talks with Lorient over the signing of 18-year-old striker Eli Junior Crupi.
They are also in talks with the representatives of another promising Celtic forward, Daniel Cummings, over a pre-contract deal for a summer move.
